Volunteer Telephone Assessor
Do you want to make a positive impact in your community and become part of the amazing volunteer effort in response to Covid-19?
As a Volunteer Telephone Assessor you will provide information to members of the public over the phone to help with the wide range of problems they face. Currently, we are experiencing a high volume of calls from people seeking information on their employment rights, claiming Universal Credit and housing matters.
This is a hugely rewarding and varied role where you’ll undergo an intensive 13 week remote training programme, providing you with the knowledge and skills to deliver an excellent level of service to our clients.
You’ll need to be able to commit to a minimum period of 9 months volunteering for 2 days per week (Monday to Friday) and have access to a personal laptop or PC, a private and secure internet connection and a confidential space to undertake the role from home.
Please read the full role description and apply by completing the Application Form. We’ll be in touch about your application in the next few weeks. If your application is shortlisted you’ll be invited to complete a practical assessment and interview. Our next intake of volunteers will begin their induction in January 2021.
