Vision
“Citizens Advice Lewisham provides free, independent, confidential and
impartial advice and information to those who live and work in Lewisham. We
will work in partnership with other advice providers in Lewisham and use data
collected through our work to highlight social injustice. We do this by giving our
people the skills and knowledge to build holistic responses with our partners
and stakeholders and effect change where it is most needed.”
Mission
We will provide the best advice service for the people of Lewisham by:
- Supporting and appreciating our people to develop their skills and do well.
- Enabling our people to give quality, accredited advice and guidance to clients
- Having the biggest impact through considered, efficient use of our resources
- Maximising the funding we can access and fundraise to create financial sustainability
- Treating each other and our clients with respect at all times, valuing diversity, challenging discrimination and promotong equality.
- Ensuring local advice partners work together to provide the best possible advice provision based on local needs
- Working with our partners to identify and meet gaps in local advice provision
Values
We are a member of Citizens Advice, our national membership body, and we
actively promote the principles underlying the whole Citizens Advice service.
