Citizens Advice Lewisham (CAL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Fiona Derbyshire as its new CEO effective today, 1 March 2022. 

Fiona brings a wealth of experience from her previous role as CEO of Citizens Advice York as well as her extensive work with local government as a consultant on planning and change management and also as a politician tackling housing issues including HMO licensing.  Through her experience and efforts Fiona gave local residents a voice in the future of local authority strategy. 

Speaking on the appointment, CAL’s Chair Cosette Reczek said:

“Our Trustee Board is thrilled to introduce leadership of Fiona’s caliber into our community to guide Citizens Advice Lewisham as it continues to support and empower Lewisham residents by working with partners to continue to provide a much needed free service for all to create a long-lasting positive impact within the borough.”

Fiona assumes the role with immediate effect and said: “I am looking forward to living and working within Lewisham’s multicultural and diverse community.  I am excited to bring my skills and experience to CAL, its partners and community stakeholders as we continue our critical work together to build a better Lewisham for all.”
